Women’s Soccer Jana Lee was named Brine Rookie Player of the Week for her outstanding performance against Holy Cross on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Lee led her team to a 4-1 victory over their Patriot League rivals, scoring five points on the day.
She tallied her first goal 18 seconds after entering the game. Later in the game, she put the game-winning goal past the Holy Cross goalie. Toward the end of the second half, Lee added an assist.
Lee is ranked third on the team in scoring points with a total of six thus far in the season.
Although the Crusaders got on the scoreboard first, AU answered refused to lose.
The Eagles return to action as they travel to Colgate on Saturday, Oct. 4 at 4 p.m.
