As the region still digs out from this weekend’s storm, local radio station WTOP reported that 25 percent of D.C. plows are not working.

The District seems to be having trouble getting replacement parts for as many as 60 plows, WTOP reported.

Salt is also in high demand. The District Department of Transportation currently has 9,000 tons on hand. Usually, 40 to 50,000 tons of salt is kept. Another 32,000 tons of salt is on its way, according to an e-mail that the station obtained.
