A Tokyo teacher was arrested Monday after stealing the underwear of six young schoolboys at knifepoint, according to Kyodo News.
The 26-year-old teacher allegedly approached the group of eight boys and showed them the knife, after which two of the boys ran away, Kyodo News reported.
The teacher, who worked at a different school, forced the remaining six to undress from the waist down. Police suspect he also stole a cell phone from one child and made prank calls to the boy’s home.
One boy suffered only minor injuries when the knife touched his skin, Kyodo said.
Police declined to comment on the incident, but the principal of the teacher’s school told Kyodo News he was a “dedicated teacher.”
