Gospel choir celebrates King’s legacy through song

The AU Gospel Choir and Jazz Ensemble performed in the Kay Spiritual Life Center Monday afternoon in celebration of civil rights activist Martin Luther King, Jr.‘s birthday. King would have turned 75 this year. The performance was directed by Gospel Choir Director Sylestea Sledge and music professor William Smith.
