“SUB Presents: Matt Pond PA”
7-10 p.m.
WHERE: The Tavern
INFO: Matt Pond PA, who’s had his music appear on TV shows like “The OC,” will perform a free show at AU. Civil Twilight will also perform. All students must present their AU identification card at the door.

AU Cheer and dance team tryouts

WHERE: Bender Arena
INFO: The Cheer and dance teams are looking for new members to help cheer on AU’s sports teams. Anyone who cannot attend the tryouts can submit an audition tape.

INFO: AU’s Red Cross Club, Donors for Life and Alpha Phi Omega will hold a blood drive. Donors are encouraged to sign up prior to donation.

Take Back the Night
8 p.m.
WHERE: In front of Hughes Hall
INFO: Local communities organize “Take Back the Night” marches to make women, men and children aware of violence. At AU, members of the campus community plan to hold the event to speak out against violence and help people feel safer at night.

Israel Week: Nonie Darwish
8 p.m.
WHERE: Ward 1
INFO: Nonie Darwish, a pro-Israel Palestinian woman who devotes her life to making peace, will speak to AU students and answering their questions. AU Hillel and AU Students for Israel will sponsor this event.
