People wait in line to enter the Newseum during its grand opening Friday. The museum waived its usual $20 admission fee. The offer drew crowds in the hundreds, filling the museum to capacity quickly. School of Communication professor Wendell Cochran, who invited students to travel with him for the opening, said he was turned away shortly after 2 p.m. due to building-capacity regulations.
