Men's b-ball gives all in PL quarterfinal win
DON'T GIVE UP- Though it looked grim in the beginning (below), Blue Crew fans never gave up on their Eagles. No. 5 Garrison Carr (above) gave the fans plenty to cheer about in the second half. Carr scored 11 points in the second half, including three three-point shots to give the Eagles the victory against Holy Cross.

In front of a raucous crowd in Bender Arena, the men's basketball team came back from a double-digit deficit last night to defeat the Holy Cross Crusaders 62-60 in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League Tournament. Holy Cross came out aggressive and asserted its will early. (continue reading)

The National Basketball Association could stand to learn from the recent history of the National Hockey League. In September 2004, the ice rinks of the NHL went unused in every major city across the United States and Canada. Another home loss for women's lacrosse
Eagles fall 17-8 against Towson

The women's lacrosse team fell again at Jacobs Field on Tuesday to Towson 17-8. The Eagles are now 0-3 at home this season and 1-4 overall. The match started out strong for the Eagles, with the team grabbing the early lead thanks to a goal by sophomore attacker Amanda Makloid just five minutes into the first half to give AU the 1-0 lead.
