Jamieson runs away with two titles at PL
Team takes four championships over the weekend

Junior Carlos Jamieson captured his first two career titles, while senior Cathleen Ford picked up an individual victory at the Patriot League Track and Field Championships this weekend at Bucknell University.
Along with Jamieson and Ford, the Eagles also won a league title in the men's distance relay, totaling four championships over the course of the meet.
After not entering any events on day one, which consisted of solely field events, AU had runners in three races on day two of the competition. Jamieson and classmate Brandon Laks ran in the 5000-meter run, finishing with times of 14:29.82 and 15:13.62 to finish in first and eighth places respectively.
The men's and women's four by 800-meter relay teams also competed on Saturday. The men's team, composed of seniors Brendan Fennell, Steve Hallinan and Brian McCabe along with sophomore Dan King finished with a time of 7:40.36 minutes, good enough for sixth place in the event and only four seconds behind race winner Navy.
On the women's side, seniors Cathleen Ford and Kate Lilley with freshmen Mary Jane Egan and Melissa Tabas took home fourth place with a time of 9:20.14. Bucknell took first place in the event with a time of 9:08.11.
During the final day of competition yesterday, Jamieson added to his amazing meet by taking home first place in the 3000-meter race with a time of 8:16.68, more than two seconds faster than his next closest competitor.
The men's distance relay team of Hallinan, sophomore Dan King and freshmen Morgan Block and Jeremiah Headen combined to finish with a time of 10:00.23.
Other male Eagles who raced on Saturday were Fennell, who took second in the mile and fourth in the 3000-meter race; Hallinan, who took fourth in the mile and McCabe who finished fourth in the 1000 meter race.
For the women, Ford took the sole individual title with a time of 10:01.34 in the 3000 meter race while teammate Lilley took fifth in mile race.
The Eagles concluded their season at the championships, with the men ending in fifth place with 51 points and the women finishing in eighth with 16 points.
