As we all know, one day in fashion you're in, the next, you're out.

The "Dress For Success" fashion show, held Sunday in the Katzen Rotunda and organized by a variety of student organizations, gave fashion advice for young professionals embarking on their first careers. The event was a production of Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, American Marketing Association, Public Relations Student Society of America, Undergraduate Business Association and Hispanic Business Association. All profits from the event were donated to Dress For Success, a nonprofit organization whose mission is "to advance low-income women's economic and social development."

Fashion tips:

Quick fixes on the go

PROBLEM: STATIC CLING
Solution: Find a wire hanger in a nearby coat closet and rub it
along the clingy area - the metal removes the charge.

PROBLEM: UNSHINED SHOES
Solution: Eat a banana and use the inside of the peel to give
a temporary shine to your shoes.
