Correction for Oct. 22, 2007

In the Monday photo spread headlined "Dalai Lama awarded medal of honor," it was incorrectly identified that the Dalai Lama was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor; he was awarded the Congressional Gold Medal. The Congressional Medal of Honor is a military honor; the Congressional Gold Medal is a civilian honor.

In "'Hey' song banned at AU games," The Eagle misattributed the source of the sentence, "He said fans often shout 'You suck!' at the opposing team when the pep band plays the song." That information came from Pep Band Boosters President Matt Nestopoulos, not Associate Director of Athletics Development David Bierworth.
