For those who haven't heard, Barbaro - the horse who fought adversity to win last year's Kentucky Derby and our hearts - died Monday. Barbaro's leg was broken, so his owners decided to put him down. The Scene staff, followers of the Barbaro story since that rainy day in a barn when he was conceived, was particularly delighted with The Washington Post's coverage on Tuesday. Barbaro made the cover of the front page, as well as the Sports and even Style sections. We've still not had our Barbaro fix yet, though, so we now present a list of new angles we hope to see taken in future issues of the Post.

1. Business: How will the death of Barbaro
affect attendance at the next Kentucky Derby? Should
we expect a decline in mint julep stock?

2. Movies: Which studio will jump on the
Barbaro story first? Will it be better than"Flicka"? Will
"Barbaro: The Myth, the Legend, the Horse" win any
Oscars? Or what about "Barbaro 2: He's Back and More
of a Horse Than Ever"?

3. Metro: Any plans to build a Barbaro
monument on the Mall?

4. Weather: Will Barbaro's death result in
more rain, aka angel tears? How long will this global
mourning continue?

5. Classifieds: Are Barbaro's owners looking
for a new horse, or is the pain of loss too intense?

6. Health: Can scientists procure Barbaro stem
cells and use them to save human lives? What about
horsey lives?

7. Science: Can Barbaro clones be created?
Does the future hold robo-Barbaros?

8. National News: Who seems sadder
about Barbaro's death: Barack Obama or Hillary
Clinton? Does Pat Buchanan even care?

9. World News: How do the Shiites feel
about the untimely death of Barbaro?

10. Conspiracy: Was Barbaro's leg really
broken?
